Blizzard claimed the bug has been fixed, however, users are still reporting the issue as rampant. Unfortunately, this mainly appears to be a server side issue which is generally not user serviceable. One of these bugs causes the player character to be removed, completely disappearing from the character selection screen without warning, as if the character never existed, apparently without any fixes. Diablo 2: Resurrected unfortunately had a rough launch, with a substantial amount of bugs affecting many players.
