Speaking with Ra'Zhid leads nowhere, no matter how much you attempt to presuade him. The artifacts are a Dwemer goblet, bowl and tube (note that you can return and items that you find, not just the ones in Hla Oad). If Ra'Zhid refuses to return the artifacts, you must find them somehow. Sugar-Lips Habasi in the Balmora Hall asks* you to recover some Dwemer artifacts stolen by Ra'Zhid who can be found in Fatleg's Drop Off in Hla Oad (South West of Balmora on the coast). Return to Habasi for a reward of 500 gold. Of course, once you have the key, there's no reason not to check out the Manor for yourself, to get the good pickings. Another alternative is to bribe Sovor to get the key (cost me one 1000 gold bribe, so its not really worth it). You must either pick pocket the key from either of them, or kill Sovor (note that Sovor is killed in another quest so don't feel bad if you have to). If you kill Nerano, you fail the quest as Habasi sees no point in stealing from a dead man (not to mention the bad rep it would give). Two people in Balmora have the key, Ondres Nerano has the key in the bottom part of the Manor (the key is for the top part), and his servant, Sovor Trandel, in the Council Club. Sugar-Lips Habasi in the Balmora Hall asks you get the key for Nerano Manor. Return to Habasi for a reward of an Exclusive Invisibility potion.

Nalcarya has several diamonds in a locked (20) chest upstairs above her bed, but be warned that if you do steal one, you probably won't be able to sell back any diamonds to Nalcarya anymore (game bug). Note that you don't actually have to steal it, you can buy one, or just give her one you've found.

Sugar-Lips Habasi in the Balmora Hall will ask you to steal a diamond from Nalcarya the Alchemist in town.
